Pano brings to Eaglepoint a digital and social media expertise steeped in gaming and ecommerce with a strong emphasis in leveraging advanced analytics to inform and drive business growth.

For the past 18 months, Pano has been running Guided Launch, an early stage advisory, investment and operating practice focused on the intersection of social media and ecommerce. Since its inception, Guided Launch has worked with 5 companies in the mobile, Facebook and consumer web spaces. Each has received funding, achieved a new level of operating success or has been acquired.

Prior to Guided Launch, Pano co-founded Hangout Industries, which was the first to bring video game technology and name brands to Facebook in 2007 and grew the Hangout Facebook apps to millions of users, leveraging media brands such as the NBA, Conde Nast; fashion brands (Steve Madden, Abigail Lorick, Rich and Skinny Jeans), and lifestyle brands (Red Bull and Skull Candy). Hangout was a Techcrunch 50 finalist in 2008 and the 2008 MITX Digital Media winner for “Best Use of Technology.”

Prior to Hangout, Pano co-founded, built and sold Pantero to Progress Software at 13x trailing revenues. Pantero has become the semantic interface standard for the insurance and telecommunication industries.

Prior to Pantero, Pano co-founded and bootstrapped Syntra/Clearcross, a pioneer in the global logistics space, which we grew to over 1000 customers in 30 countries. Clearcross delivered one of the first commercially available Web Services (1999). It was licensed by Oracle and embedded in their ERP suite.

Pano currently serves on the board of Boston FOCUS, as Advisor to One Hen, Inc. and numerous philanthropic endeavors. Pano has a Masters in International Affairs from Columbia University and a BA from University of Delaware.
